We provide a wide range of products and services to our customers at home and abroad. Our company is divided into individual departments working together in two, 20,000 square foot facilities.

The Hydraulics shop has 2000 square feet of space to handle all your hydraulic needs. We will custom manufacture cylinders from the very small to the very large in size. With a 75HP test stand, an 8 foot cylinder hone and a 20,000 ft/lb nut remover, There are very few hydraulic jobs we can not handle. We stock AEROQUIP hose and fittings, CHAR-LYNN hydraulic motors and BRAND valves and flow dividers.

We stock over 200 different sizes of O-Rings, seals, V packing and wipers. Overnight delivery is available for non-stock items. Three full hydraulic mechanics, with support of our machine shop, can turn your job around in short order.

The Machining shop has 1600 square feet of space and four full-time machinists. Our equipment includes 5 lathes, 2 vertical milling machines and 1 horizontal milling machine. We have machined everything from hydraulic cylinder components, to splines for farm tractor axles, to bearing surfaces on axles for highway van trailers. There is not a better/larger service shop on Prince Edward Island.

The Repair & Fabrication Shop is the oldest division of Linkletter's Welding Ltd. All other divisions, have evolved from this base. The Repair & Fabrication shop has 12,000 square feet of repair & fabrication space. We have built large ship unloading hoppers, cement plants, potato harvesters, conveyors and other miscellaneous equipment. We do extensive amounts of stainless steel fabrications for a local french fry processing plant. We have manufactured prototype machines for various businesses. We worked on the Confederation Bridge and built a reputation for quality workmanship and the ability to meet almost impossible deadlines on a consistent basis for over four years.

Our company was built on repair work done for the local farm community which continues to play an important role in the success of our business. This work has given us vast experience in welding all types of materials. We regularly weld mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast steel and cast iron. We mig weld, tig weld, stick weld and braze. We also have five licensed high-pressure welders on staff.

We have the capability to shear .375'' plate 12 feet long. Our brake is 12 feet between uprights with 160 tons of bending force. Our plate rolls are capable of rolling .250'' plate 8 feet long.

Mobile welding is an important area of our business. Our mobile welding department has two sides to it. On one side, we have one dedicated mobile welding truck ready to go on a minute's notice, two tag-a-long mobile welders and a fleet of four service trucks. On the other side, we do on site maintenance and installations. We currently have a crew of five full time mechanics on site on a year round basis at a local french fry processing plant. We are very experienced in the installation of single pieces of our own equipment or complete lines of equipment bought from other manufacturers.

The Parts Department has 1500 square feet of space and stocks a complete inventory of NTN bearings, TSUBAKI roller chain and sprockets, LEESON electric motors, HONDA gas engines and ICI paint products. We have the largest stock of standard and metric bolts, pop rivets, screws, lag bolts and other assorted fasteners in PEI. We are the only parts department on the Island that stocks pipe fittings up to 4''. We are the 'GO TO' parts counter for the odd and unusual in Prince Edward Island.
