On The Edge helped me get back on the ice (and keep me upright!)

I participated in competitive figure skating for four years when I was younger then decided it was time to take a break. After seven years (and a year or two of hockey), I decided it was time to end the break. Needless to say over that time period my feet grew and I had to purchase new skates in order to return skating. The fear of stepping on ice for the first time after so long and the thought of breaking in a new pair of boots in the process made me a little edgy and extremely nervous. However, I knew after the first call I made to On The Edge the experience wouldn't be anything similar to my fears. Michelle took the time to ask not only the essential questions but wanted to get to know me and my individual needs. When I arrived on site Leith then worked with me to pick out my new boots and blades. Futhermore, he made sure we were on the same page throughout the entire process and that my boots were the perfect fit (without the painful breaking in part).

The experience was only strengthened the first time I stepped on ice and my blades felt and sounded amazing! (No more snow plowing for me!) Leith and Michelle not only pride themselves in their expertise but in their customer service and I would not hestitate to recommend On The Edge to any skill level, figure skater or hockey player.
